Rappers and hip hop generally had a lot to do with Obama's public relations and winning campaign. We can't forget rapper The Game talked about Obama's Tattoo or Jay-Z interviews / youtube's propaganda.

Back then Barack seems appreciative for this, even made some cleaning of the "dirt off the shoulder" hip hop gesture in a public event, and saying he got some Jay-Z's joints in his music player. But the recent news saying Barack Obama might be asking to take the hip hop music out of the White House.

Rumors or 'Word on the streets' is that Obama forbid hip hop listening by his children (his 2 daughters). Seems like his daughters prohibited playing hip hop music at the White House, and that Obama thinks it might won't be a good lesson for his family.
